Meet Jill

Hi, I'm Jill - a qualified fitness instructor and personal trainer based in Whitley Bay.

I help people get stronger, feel fitter, and build confidence in themselves and the gym - whether they’re brand new to exercise, returning after time away, or ready to take their training to the next level. 

My approach is supportive, down-to-earth and focused on helping you feel capable and confident, not overwhelmed. I believe fitness should add to your life, not feel intimidating or complicated.

Who I Help

I work with people who want guidance, structure and reassurance in their training - whether that’s getting started, finding direction, or progressing with purpose. If you’re lacking motivation or need support to stay consistent, I’m there to provide encouragement, accountability and a positive push when you need it. If you want support that’s encouraging, personalised and focused on long-term results, you’re in the right place. 

My Story & Approach

I am deeply passionate about health and fitness and love helping others discover what their bodies are capable of. For me, training isn’t just about the physical results - it’s about feeling strong, empowered and good in yourself. 

I’m qualified in and teach a wide range of group exercise classes in North Tyneside including:

Indoor Cycling 
Les Mills Body Pump
Les Mills Pilates
Les Mills Core 

Les Mills Functional Strength 
Les Mills Strength Development 

Alongside group exercise, I work with clients one-to-one, two-to-one and in small groups at a private gym in Monkseaton, Whitley Bay. This allows me to offer personalised coaching in a supportive, focused environment.

My specialism is fitness and strength training, with a strong focus on technique, progression and confidence. I help clients to:

Where We Train 

All personal training sessions take place at SHF Gym in Monkseaton, Whitley Bay - a well-equipped, open and welcoming training space. The gym offers a wide range of cardio equipment, machine and free weights, along with a separate studio area ideal for small group sessions. 

Located in a quiet residential area, the gym provides a friendly, focused environment to train with free parking just steps away.
